In spring 2017, Black Seed launched new sandwiches on Bagel Rolls, setting out to create a baked roll that emulates the taste and texture of a bagel, yet provides a stronger base for the sandwich. The rolls are made using the same naturally-leavened, glutinous bagel dough but shaped into a roll and baked without boiling (like a bialy, but with a more roll- like form).
Black Seed also offers a selection of salads, housemade pastries, coffee and beverages, made with the same love, care and homemade ethos as their bagels. Using the approach that the most delicious ingredients make for delicious end products, Black Seed deems it critical to support local producers endeavoring to be the best at what they do.
